LED Flat Panel
LED downlights are now a norm in all new projects because of energy savings, longer life, low maintenance. It saves more then 60% of power. LED panels are used now-a-days in all commercial and residential applications.
LED flat panel light adopts SMD LED as a light source. These LED's are mounted on back portion of the heat sink and not on the edge of heat sink. Unlike edge lit lights which have a light guide plate and very small heat sink area these have more than 5 times heat sinking area.
It is suitable for indoor lighting such as living room, bedroom, some lighting corridor. One also has an option of making these lights smart by using mobile apps which can remotely turn on/off or dim. Further sensors can be used to detect presence/absence of a person and lights can be switched off for additional power savings.
